As you can read on the BBC website, handsfree sets pick up radiation from the phone and cause up to 2.5 times the radiation of the phone to be transmitted to the head.

A patch of shielding material that you can place into your existing case, handbag, or pocket.

With a size of 10cm x 18 cm, this patch can be cut to size to fit into your existing case.  Place it in such a way, as to protect the head/body side of the phone and allow radiation to go through the back of the phone.   An opening must be left, otherwise there is no reception!

Alternatively, you can place the shield inside your handbag, bumbag or belt-case.

The size of 11x15 cm fits into an A6 mailing envelope and can make two phone shields.  You might also decide to double the layers for maximum protection.
