Earthing Plug

The photo shows 2 examples of a plug assembly to send the electric field into the Earth of a power point. 

To get an objective indication of the electric field, your instrument must be grounded to earth. 

DANGER >>>  Have this done by an electrician, if you are not totally sure about how to do it. 

You must only use the EARTH contact in the plug, otherwise you will electrocute yourself and destroy the instrument.
