Measuring Instruments

Measure electrosmog / electro-pollution in home or workplace, with these top quality German precision instruments.  A great investment to share with your family and friends, or to use professionally.

Gigahertz won an independent consumer test in Germany by a huge margin in front of the next competitor(TEST magazine, 3/06).

We have been using their equipment for many years, ourselves.  Integrity and Quality are fundamental in Building Biology, and Gigahertz deliver!

  • High Frequency Measuring (radio, TV, mobiles, cordless, wifi, microwaves)
  • Low Frequency Measuring (power lines, home wiring and appliances)

ME 3030B

!
Measures electric and magnetic A/C fields. Sometimes referred to as a Gaussmeter, this instrument can do much more!

We have received many calls from all over Australia by people who are concerned about the electro-pollution in their home, office or school.  If no Building Biologist is near, you will be able to make accurate measurements with this professional-standard instrument, yourself.

This German producer of high quality Building Biological products makes an affordable instrument, which is nevertheless precise enough not to fall into the 'toy' category.

Key Benefits

  • Makes your home a safer place by measuring electro-pollution.
  • Very well designed and simple to work with.  No technical knowledge required.
  • Measures not just magnetic fields, but also the very important electric fields.
  • Electric fields are measured in the only objective way, against Earth.
  • Measures not just 50Hz mains emissions, but also resonances emitted by transformers, substations e.g.,  up to 2 kHz.
  • Low battery indication helps avoid inaccurate measurements.
  • 2 years warranty.
  • Unsurpassed value for money, quality, precision and workmanship.

Digital electrostress analyzer ME 3851A

Now Only
!
Professional Low Frequency Measuring of 240V/ 60 Hz

This device represents the low-cost access to the professional low-frequency measurement technology. Its functions and features are tailored to the needs and practical experiences of the building biology.

MW 1: pulsed microwave detector

!
a simple and effective tool
Makes electro smog caused by pulsed high frequency (mobile phones, cordless DECT, WLAN, WIFI, etc.) audible and thus gives an impression of the exposure in your personal environment.

The volume of the acoustic signal is proportional to the field strength, and the sound helps differentiate the various sources of radiation.

  • Perfect for beginners!
  • Straight forward single-knob control.
  • Dimensions: 147 x 85 x 42 mm
  • Not suitable for quantitative measurements.
  • Supplied incl. battery and multi-lingual  instruction manual

HF 35C

!
This instrument gives you high accuracy for measuring radiation from mobile phones and their transmitters, as well as wifi and other microwaves.

This device allows a straight forward assessment of the exposure, a determination of suitable remedial actions, as well as a control of their effectiveness.

Key Benefits

It is easy to operate, even for lay-people, and offers:

  • Digital display of 1 µW/m² up to 1999 µW/m²
  • Identification of pulsed radiation sources (mobile radio (GSM, UMTS/G3), cord-
less telephones (DECT), WLAN (Bluetooth), air-traffic control-radar) by means of an acoustic signal proportional to the modulation frequency
  • Display of peak value as well as average value (switchable)
  • Sensitivity increased by a factor of 10 (from a minimum display resolution of
    0.1µW/m² to a maximum of 1999 µW/m²).

Included:  Measuring device, attachable log.-per. antenna incl. antenna cable, Alkaline Mangan battery, detailed instruction manual with background information.

HF 58B-r

!

A professional grade model with everything a Building Biologist might need.  Especially useful the ability to discern pulsed and analog HF radiation.

The radar module sets standards in this category of devices. Its functions and features are tailored to the needs and practical experiences of the building biology. Due to its comparably low price, it is often also used for scientific and industrial purposes, especially in the cell phone and wireless sector.

Characteristics

  • Audio Analyses for the identification of pulsed radiation sources (mobile radio (GSM, UMTS/G3), cordless telephones (DECT), WLAN (Bluetooth), air-traffic control-radar) by means of an acoustic signal proportional to the modulation frequency
  • Display of peak value as well as average value (switchable)
  • Sensitivity increased by a factor of 10 (from a minimum display resolution of 0.1µW/m² to a maximum of 1999 µW/m²)
  • A quantitative differentiation between pulsed and un-pulsed radiation - a unique feature within the broadband measuring technology (based on our patent DE10317805)
  • A switch for 2 MHz video bandwidth, allowing especially precise measurements, also of ultra short RADAR signals within the frequency range subject to measurement with a minimum pulse length of up to 0.5 micro seconds, as well as of UMTS-FDD/3G
  • Especially high speed of response in the operational mode "peak hold" (patented)
  • A NiMH battery, a battery charger and a power supply unit inclusive.

RF-Analyzer kit HFE35C

!

A High Frequency instrument

The extra-broad frequency response of the UBB27 antenna, together with the features and specifications of the HFE35C offer outstanding overview over the exposure, a determination of suitable remedial actions, as well as a control of their effectiveness.

Set offer including the following components:

    * The instrument itself is based on the HF35C but has an extended frequency range reaching down to 27 MHz and comprises two antennas
    * Especially compensated log.-per. antenna for the range above 800 MHz.
    * Horizontal isotropic ultra broad bandwidth antenna UBB27_G3 from 27 MHz up to far beyond 2.5 GHz (limited by the frequency response of the HFE35C)
    * Small plastic case K4: with convoluted foam filler for a safe transportation of the measuring device and both antenna
